Antonina Toregeldi is a Czech actress with Russian, Ukrainian, and Jewish roots. She’s been performing since childhood—singing in a choir and acting in kids' theater. She’s bilingual, with Russian as her first language and Czech as her second. She studied these languages, along with literature and education, at Charles University, where she earned a PhDr. degree. Since 2023, she has been fully focused on acting.
You might have seen her in lead roles in several short films and original theater productions. One of her latest projects is Raani, an independent short film where she plays the main role. To prepare for the shoot, she trained in close combat with Czech Action Crew. She has also appeared in commercials for a number of Czech and international brands.
Besides acting, she’s a professional photographer, specializing in portraits and headshots for actors. She’s also a producer and singer in the synth-folk duo AÐALGÍR. They’re planning to release their first singles and an LP, We, in 2025.
