Jan lives since 2010 in Austria and was studying at the “Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance” (S.E.A.D.) contemporary dance and choreography. Since 2008 he has been acting with the theatre group “KREPSKO”. In addition to his work on stage, Jan also works as a filmmaker/actor – e.g. in 2015, a film by Paul Wenninger – “Uncanny Valley” which was also nominated for the Austrian Film Prize and won the Best Austrian Animation Film Award 2016. Jan had been working with Austrian “DANS.KIAS” dance company since 2016-2020 and had founded own theatre group “YELLOW BUOY” where he directed “Lullaby Augen zu”, “Hanuman Addiction Cycle” and “Lost Mythologies”. In 2022/23 Jan performed in series – „Das Boot“ (Sky), „A Small Light“ (Disney Plus), „Steirerkrimi“ (ORF), „Der Ewige Kaiser“ (ZDF) or “Kafka” (ORF).
