Jana Markusková

I am a third-year student at Dundalk Institute of Technology pursuing a BA in Musical Theatre. I am a singer, actor, and performer of Czech origin, with an interest in stage management as well. 

I started in a choir at the age of six. Since the age of fifteen, I attended the annual Summer Acting school for three years and started taking solo singing classes at the Primary Art School Antonín Dvořák, until I moved to Ireland to study at DkIT.

During my time at DkIT, I worked on multiple scene studies, one of which was Twelfth Night The Musical, where I played the role of Malvolio. My most recent performance was musical We Will Rock You at DkIT in the roles of Sixx and Teen Queen, which I also stage managed. Currently I am rehearsing Misfits May Showcase, which I am stage managing as well.
