Jiří Svoboda is a Czech actor born in Frýdek-Místek. He became a member of a local theatre ensemble when he was 14yo. There he played in ten fairy tales for children. He is very succesful in studying languages. He fluently speaks English, French and German. He also studied Japanese language at Masaryk University.
He studied acting at JAMU in Brno. Immediately after school, he started working in Hadivadlo Theatre in Brno. He has also performed at various theatres in Brno, such as BuranTeatr, Reduta, Mahen Theatre, Feste Theatre. He first appeared in front of the camera in the Czech National TV in the character of Hugo in kids programme Piratske Vysilani. He also made several student films and played the character of Norník in Petr Zelenka’s film Modelář.
