Biography

Kryštof Kotek was born on March 31, 1998 in the heart of the Sudetenland, in Ústí nad Labem.

After graduating from the Ústí gymnasium, he studied film, theater, television and radio studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of Palacký University in Olomouc, but due to its theoretical nature, he did not find it very fulfilling and decided to gain practical experience as an assistant director to Filip Nuckolls. After this one-year internship, he was accepted to the Higher Vocational School of Acting in Prague, which he successfully completed under the guidance of Diana Šoltýsová and Martin Vokoun.

He is now a proud member of the Kašpar ensemble, and can also be seen on the boards of Jára Cimrman's Žižkov Theater in productions by the 3D Company ensemble, or in partial projects in cooperation with DAMU.

In the past, he also performed in the Tramtarie theater and in projects of the KULT association. He also has experience with television and radio acting.

Outside of theater, he enjoys playing musical instruments and singing, performing with the band Ryštyry, as well as listening to a wide range of music across styles. However, his favorite artist remains the Czech rap band Gambrz Reprs.
